(1) There shall be a Service Commission as follows to recommend the appointment and promotion of teachers and staff of the University:-

(a) From the Chancellor Appointed Person Chairman

(b) Member, Public Service Commission Member

(c) From among the professors One member

(2) A committee consisting of two members of the Assembly under the chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor will be constituted to submit recommendations for the appointment of the chairman and members as per clauses (a) and (c) of sub-section (1) and The chairman and members will be appointed by the vice-chancellor on the recommendation of the committee. (3) The term of office of the chairman and members appointed according to sub-section (2) will be four years. (4) Service commission meeting procedure. It will be as prescribed and until it is prescribed, the service commission itself will determine the procedure for the meeting.
